I bought it for Renault Megane 2. They simply insert under the rubber strip, so this tape doesn't come with double-sided adhesive tape. This tape just inserts under the sealing rubber strip and that's it. The standard lamp is disconnected and two thin pins, positive and negative, are inserted into the connector. It's very quick and easy to do all this. It shines brightly.

This is the second one I've bought. The light is quite strong but not blinding. You can cut it into smaller pieces and after soldering the wires it works normally because it's just a regular LED strip in a flexible casing. I'll use the second one as floor lighting by connecting it to the main lamp.

Reasonably straight forward to install. The issue is keeping it connected to the existing boot light fixture. I don't have a soldering iron so had to find another way to clip in. Fitting the light itself on the trim is straight forward.
